Welcome to my website
I'm glad you decided to drop in to learn more. Allow me to share a bit about myself: I am a proud mother and grandmother who has dedicated over two decades of my life to serving our nation as a Chief Master Sergeant in the Air Force. I hold a bachelor’s degree in business management, and I have proudly called Hawthorne my home for nearly ten years.
After retiring from the military, my commitment to serve our country and its veterans remained unwavering as I embarked on a new career with the Veterans Health Administration. In my spare time I was appointed to the role of Chair of the Hawthorne’s Veterans Affairs Commission where under my leadership, we established our city’s first military banner program honoring the military men and women in our city who are or who have served our country. For me, service is not just a duty—it's a lifelong commitment. My dedication extends beyond my time in uniform; it encompasses a deep-seated pledge to our country, our community, and every family in Hawthorne.
I am now running for Hawthorne City Council with the sincere intention of serving this community that has given so much to me and my family. Your support will empower me to bring progress and positive change.
For too long, I’ve witnessed a City Council more interested in personal gain than public service. My promise to you is clear: “Public Service, Not Self Service.” Every decision I make as your Councilwoman will be driven by what’s best for you, not for myself.
I am disheartened by the current Council's relentless pursuit of their own interests, including their failed attempts to manipulate the City Charter for personal gain. I stood against their overreach two years ago and fought alongside many of you when they tried to revive this misguided effort earlier this year.
As you explore this website and learn more about my vision, I humbly ask for your support in my run for city council. Together, let’s reclaim integrity and professionalism in our City Council. We need leaders who are not afraid to face scrutiny, who welcome challenges from citizens and one another, and who are prepared to justify their decisions with transparency and honesty. Let’s build a Council that stands firmly for our community's best interests and demands the accountability we deserve.
